WE CAN’T SAVE THE WORLD – sound installation

Sound Installation (2018)

For 2 channel sound and aluminium foil covered room and speakers

Sound installation based on selected field recordings done in nature around PyeongChang where you either hear the sound of construction for PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics or the sound of airplanes in the background.
The installation was part of the “Montage is a heartbeat” exhibition at Multi-Cultural Artspace Haengwhatang October 20th – November 5th 2017. The work was made during the 40 day Deep in the Mountains residency 2017 in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Saving the world is not a choice for us to make.
The world will be there with or without us.
In time all will be forgotten.
