2018 – celloLYDinstallasjon (celloSOUNDinstallation)– sound installation

Immensive outdoor sound installation project made for the Cellolyd festival in Lofoten Islands – the first and only cello festival in Norway.

Four retired and no longer playable celloes have been donated by Sortland and Hadsel music school. The cellos have all gotten a makeover, been re-built and will be suspended in metal wires in traditional fish-drying racks in Moskenes in Lofoten Islands – they will be the center of a new and playable sound installation instrument. For the opening of the festival a new work by Tine Surel Lange will be performed by cellists playing on the sound installation instrument.

Opening: June 28th – 1 PM – at Nothjellen, Sakrisøy (at Anita’s sjømat), Lofoten Islands, Norway.
