Evolution is taking place and as we change (and possibly destroy) the fundamental of our life on this planet a new species is taking form – welcoming these changes as their fundamental for life. What we describe as environmental disasters are for the new species new potential feeding grounds.

During a field trip in February 2019 to Repparfjord (Norway) where a new mine is scheduled to dump 60 million tonnes of mine waste directly into the fjord during the next 30 years, I managed to capture never seen before footage of the creatures.

There are two versions of the piece. One for video + pierrot ensemble (flute, clarinet, violin, cello, and piano) and one for video + 2 channel sound.
