First stop: Berlevåg, Norway (july 2017). Second stop: Pyeongchang, South Korea (September/October 2017).
In a time where we are constantly surrounded by sound, have we forgotten how to listen?
With my art I want to make people listen, with the hope that we through listening get more in contact with and care more about our surroundings and the changes happening.
Excerpts from seven destinations:
1. Jungle in Laos
2. Danish Forest
3. Night Train in Thailand
4. Cave in Vietnam
5. Jungle in Thailand
6. Norwegian Forest
7. Under the Dock in Nyksund
The first project stop was as chosen festival artist at Sommer i Berlevåg festival 2017. Located at the almost northern-most mainland Norway facing the arctic ocean, this town of approx. 1000 people was a very interesting first stop. There was a week-long soundinstallation and two live performances.
